I enjoy writing songs about real people. I’m inspired by true stories. I write songs all the time. Some of the songs about real people end up on my albums and on the radio. Just imagine a song about you or your loved one being on my next album! Anything is possible. It all starts with a few words from memories or anecdotes you wish to share with me. And then the magic happens!
1 – Choose the Occasion
You can gift a song for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries, Weddings, Birthdays, or just about any day as a way to say, I love you with all my blood!
2 – Tell Me Your Story
We will schedule via email a phone call to discuss the person you want me to write about. Tell me how you met. What about them do you love? Is there a funny or memorable story you want to share? Let’s brainstorm.
3 – Present the Song to your Special Someone
I will write original lyrics based on what you tell me about your special someone. Then you will receive a framed and signed lyric sheet in the mail, plus the mp3 recording of the song via email. You can add musicians and a video option in the pricing packages below.
If I fall in love with the new song, I might even put it on my next album! For example, a fan in New Orleans once told me a story about his sister. She wanted a baby brother, even though her mama told her, “the shop is closed.” One night, the young girl attended a Liberace concert. When she came home, she asked her parents to have a baby boy “just like Liberace.” She prayed and lit candles, and nine months later, on Liberace’s birthday, her baby brother Ron was born. That story was so amazing, I recorded it as a gospel song and it’s been playing on radio since.
