Summer Solstice

It is the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. We celebrate the golden light like children pushing back the night. Summer has arrived with its fireflies and lazy skies. The crickets sing in fields of gold. Dragonflies and damselflies and butterflies all dance in the season of the sun. Time slows down for everyone. The air is sweet. We walk with bare feet on the cool blades of grass, and sip a Sarsaparilla by the glass. Bonfires and baling hay. Outdoor festivals and trees that sway in the summer wind. Celebrate the light within. Shine and dance and sing. This is your golden hour. Embrace the abundance.
